How the number is built
What moves the number
We price each building from these six facts, and the bid shows them so you can see why it differs from another supplier's.
Area and surface
Square feet of each floor type: carpet, resilient tile, sealed concrete and stone each take a different crew time.
Frequency
Nightly, three nights a week or weekly. Frequency changes crew time more than size does.
Fixtures and use
The count of restroom fixtures and how many people use the building drive restroom time.
Access window
Hours when we can be in the building. A short window needs a bigger crew.
Supplies
Whether you provide paper, liners and soap, or we do, and which products your policy lists.
Requirements
Background checks, badge rules, wage rules and training your solicitation sets.
Reading the bid
What the bid includes, and what is priced apart
A bid that mixes everything into one total can't be compared. Ours separates the lines.

When you get what

The price is not given on a call or before the walk-through. It comes in writing, by your due date.

We measure and photograph the areas, with your permission, and note access limits.
- 04

The written bid, in your required form, with the packet attached.
- 05

Questions on pricing
Do you give a ballpark before the walk-through?
No. A figure given before we have seen the building would be a guess, so the number comes in the written bid.
Can you price to a form we provide?
Yes. If your solicitation attaches a pricing form, we fill it in and attach our scope sheet beside it.
What if your number differs from another bidder's?
Ask for the scope sheet. Most differences are frequency, supply and floor care lines, and the sheet shows which.
