Floor care

Floors finished on a calendar that works around your building's closures.

Floor care is the work that cannot happen on a regular night: furniture moved, floors stripped or recoated, time to dry. We write the calendar with your facility contact, keep it to the breaks, and mark each room when it is open for use.

Who it is for

  • School breaks and summer

  • Public buildings and libraries

  • Health centers and offices

How it runs

A floor project, in order

  1. 01

    Step 1: Plan the dates

We write the calendar with your facility contact around breaks and closures.

  2. 02

    Step 2: Prepare the rooms

Furniture is moved, doors are posted and the floor is dust-mopped.

  3. 03

    Step 3: Do the work

Strip or scrub, rinse, then finish. Each room is signed off as dry and open.

  4. 04

    Step 4: Hand it back

The supervisor walks it with your contact, and anything uneven is redone.

Floor care questions

How long before a floor can be used?

It depends on the finish and the room, so the scope states the drying time for each area and posts it on the door.

Do you do floors during the school year?

We prefer breaks. When a floor must be done in term, we plan it for a weekend or a closed wing.

What if a floor is too worn to finish?

We report it with photos and tell you what we can and cannot fix, before starting.
