FAQ
Questions from procurement teams
Which certifications do you hold, and how do I check them?
The supplier file lists each one, who issued it and the date it expires. The issuer's directory lists certified firms, and the RFP desk sends a copy of any certificate on request.
What are your insurance limits?
General liability is $1M per occurrence and $2M aggregate, with $5M umbrella, $1M commercial auto and workers' compensation at statutory limits. We send a certificate naming your institution.
How is a bid priced?
From area, frequency, fixtures, access hours, supplies and your requirements. The how we bid page shows each, and the number comes in writing.
Do you attend the pre-bid walk-through?
Yes, whenever the solicitation offers one. If it does not, the bid says which numbers came from your drawings.
Who supervises our building, and how do I reach them at night?
The bid names the supervisor. Until 11 p.m. on weekdays the main line goes to the night supervisor on duty.
How do you handle keys, badges and alarm codes?
Keys and badges are listed and signed for. Alarm codes go to the crew lead only. A lost key is reported the same day.
Can you meet our background-check and training rules?
Tell us the requirement in the solicitation. The bid states what we meet and what we cannot, so there is no surprise at award.
Which products do you use, and do you disinfect?
The products on your scope sheet. Where you ask for it, we disinfect high-touch surfaces with an EPA-registered product and follow its label.
What if something is missed, broken or missing?
Tell the supervisor line. We return the next night or sooner and report anything broken or missing in writing the same night.
Does this count toward our diversity or small-business goal?
That is your program's decision under your own rules. We send certificates and the invoice detail your reporting asks for.
